Public Transport to Lakawon Island

FROM BACOLOD CITY

1: Bacolod City to Cadiz City:
Jeepney: From Lacson Street in Bacolod, ride a Bata or Mandalagan jeepney to the Ceres North Bus Terminal.
Bus: At the terminal, board a Ceres bus bound for Cadiz City. Inform the conductor of your destination to ensure you alight at the appropriate stop.

2. Cadiz City to Lakawon Island:
Tricycle: Upon reaching Cadiz City, take a tricycle to Barangay Cadiz Viejo Port, the jump-off point to Lakawon Island.
Boat: At the port, register and pay the necessary fees for the boat ride to Lakawon Island.

2: From Dumaguete City to Lakawon Island

FROM DUMAGUETE CITY

2. Dumaguete City to Bacolod City:
1. Bus: At the Dumaguete Ceres Bus Terminal, board a bus heading to Bacolod City. The journey takes approximately 5 hours.
2. Follow Steps 1 and 2 from Route 1:
Once in Bacolod City, proceed with the steps outlined in Route 1 to reach Lakawon Island.

* The total travel time from Bacolod City to Lakawon Island is approximately 2 to 3 hours, excluding waiting times.
* Buses from Bacolod to Cadiz operate from early morning until mid-afternoon. Check the latest schedules in advance.
* Boats operate from Cadiz Viejo Port. Be aware of the last trip back.
* Weather conditions may affect boat schedules, so check updates before traveling.
